Shirley Ann McMahan Phillips, 68, of Candler, died Monday, August 14, 2017 at Mission Hospital.
A native of Buncombe Co., she was a daughter of the late Marion and Savannah Marlor McMahan. She was also preceded in death by her son, Roger Dale McMahan. Shirley worked in housekeeping at Mission Hospital for over 34 years.
Surviving are her son, James Wright; 4 grandchildren; and brothers Lewis, Ed, and Ken McMahan.
Funeral services for Mrs. Phillips will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Jones Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
