Asheville – Simone Pauline Josephine Atwater, 83, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2007.
A native of Brussels, Belgium, she was daughter of the late Alphonse and Emma Beaudin Vanlaethem and wife of the late Frank Atwater.
She was a former employee of Ivey’s, a jewelry designer and active with resident services at Givens Estates.
She is survived by her beloved dog Jody and friends Ann Cauble, Ken Driver, Charlie Holleman, Lori Hedrick and Chris and Tanja Lance.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian conducted by the Rev. Perry Miller.
