Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Dr Arendale was a pleasure to work with for over 20 years. He was and will always be one of my favorite radiologists. What a genuine and kind man he was always keeping us laughing. I had the pleasure of taking care of him recently and his personality had not changed a bit! He will be missed by many! It was an honor knowing him!

  2. It is rare to find a man with a heart as big as Steve had, and even more rare to find a man who shared as much kindness as he did. I am honored to have had the opportunity to work with him at Asheville Radiology and at the VA Medical Center…..and I am grateful to have had him as a friend. He will be greatly missed.

  3. What a great man. I absolutely loved working along side Dr. A. He was a jewel of a person and an amazing doctor. So sad to see you go but you lived an amazing life and so many are better because of you. Prayers to the family and friends who knew and loved him. Rest well dear friend.

  4. Dr. Arendale was one of a kind! He kept us smiling and laughing when we were working in radiology. He had this little twinkle in his eyes that I will never forget. I had the privilege and blessings to be his nurse and care for him before he passed. He will always have a special place in my heart and will be remembered so fondly.

  5. I’m so sorry to hear about your dad. Thinking about you all and sending big hugs.

  6. Will deeply miss Dr Arendale. Feel fortunate to have worked alongside him as a new to IR PA. His broad knowledge of radiology, good nature, and sense of humor, placed those that worked with him at ease. He was a stand out during the origins of the PA program at ARA. So full of interesting life experiences in addition to helpful procedural advice. Wish the family love in this time of loss.

  7. Old memories – your hospitality & generosity, Christmas visits, raising kids, boys, sausage gravy, advice … It was a good run, Doc. Thanks so much for your friendship! Miss you.

  8. Steve was a good friend and wonderful person….one of the most interesting I have known. He was the first person I met in Houston, my medical school room mate, fishing buddy, and tennis partner. It was playing tennis with Steve that I met my wife. We struggled together, laughed together, and ate more raw oysters than I could count. I will miss him and I am terribly sorry for your loss.

  9. Dr Arendale was truly a one of kind. It was my honor to work with him. He was always telling us stories of his Navy days. He was so incredibly kind to me and everyone we worked with. We all miss him. Amanda and Stephen, I am sorry for your loss.

  10. Steve was an excellent radiologist and fine person. It was a privilege and a pleasure to
work together for over 30 years.

  11. Dr A was truly a fine man to have known as a professional person and as a friend. There will never be another Dr. A. I was truly a Blessing to have known him. Prayers going out to the family.
