To the Ted Brown Family, I am very sorry to hear of Ted’s death. My sympathy and prayers are with you all. He was a good man and treated me and my family like we were family. My daddy and mother (R.A. ‘Monk’ and Clara Owen) stayed with Ted, J.T. and Michael for many years at the Blue Ridge Motor Lodge. They always made them feel at home. I appreciate all they did for them, but especially the way they cared for daddy during the snow storm and the protective care they gave mother during her stay after daddy’s death. I know he will be missed alot and I am thankful and blessed to have known him. May God bless you all. Love, Brenda Owen McLamb

Wishing your family strength and peace and may happy memories carry you through this sorrowful time. Ted and my dad were such good friends and although my dad arrived in heaven a week earlier than Ted, we all know they are in a better place even though they will be missed. We all grieve their loss, but we know they’re up there already telling big tells to someone. Just remember you will all be together again someday. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you.
