Asheville Butterfly TrailTerry Ward, 63, of Weaverville, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 at Mission Hospital.
A native of Buncombe Co., Terry was a son of the late Richard James and Elizabeth Ruby Brackett Ward. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Schram and Joyce Brady, and by brothers James Lloyd Ward and Donald Jerry Ward.
Surviving are his wife, Tammy Dillard Ward; daughters, Amber and Terra Ward; granddaughter, Ellie Grace; sister, Shirley Ann Galloway; and brothers, James Richard Ward, Jr., George Ward, and Tommy Ward.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with Pastor Danny Jenkins officiating. Masks are required, and attendance is limited to 50.
For those wishing to pay their respects, Mr. Ward will lie in repose from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, prior to the service.
