Thalia S. Parker, 86, of 3850 Galt Ocean Drive, Apt. 1502, Fort Lauderdale, FL, died Sunday, May 7, 2006. Mrs. Parker was born in Wislovik, Poland and was a daughter of the late Louis and Beatrice Sanes. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Evelyn Sherwood, who died April 27, 1996. Mrs. Parker was married for 56 years to Theodore Phillips Parker who formerly managed Henrici’s Restaurant, where they met. Together they owned Ted Parker’s Top-of-the-Mall in Dayton, OH and the Scotch & Sirloin chain of restaurants. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Sharon Martin of Boynton Beach, FL; three sons, Theodore P. Parker, Jr. and his wife, Lori, of Woodstock, GA, and from a previous marriage, Franklin Kotlicky and his wife, Cynthia, of Downers Grove, IL, and Marshall Kotlicky and his wife, Carol, of Highland Park, IL; one brother, David P. Sanes and his wife, Sylvia of Skokie, IL; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald N. Welborn officiating. Burial will be at Brasstown Cemetery, Jackson County. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00 am Friday prior to the service.
