To the Rector and White family,
We were so sorry to hear about Thelma’s passing. My mother, Gladys Dees, was Thelma’s roommate at Pisgah Manor. Mom was so happy when Thelma moved to her room. When my mother was ill, Thelma, with her sweet and caring spirit, was a comfort to all of us. We had hoped to visit her soon. We are thinking of all of you at this time. We, too, will miss her.

Dear Phillip and family,
It is sad to hear about your mother’s passing. My parents, Burgin and Willie Wright, and your parents were good friends for many years. Know that you are in my prayers for peace and comfort. I remember your mother at the West Buncombe cafeteria and the Erwin cafeteria. She also taught me in Sunday School at one time. I will pass the information on to my brothers, Richard and Wayne.
