Thomas C. "T.A." Anderson, 64, died on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals.
A native of Buncombe Co., Thomas was the son of the late Thomas and Wilma Lee Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was a graduate of Asheville High School, and a member of West Asheville Baptist Church.
T.A. is survived by his sisters, Pat Tomberlin, Virginia McClure (Bud), Paulette Fowler, and Jeanette Anderson; nephews and niece, Kent Tomberlin, Jeff Wright, Mark Wright, Thomas Lee Emory, and Lisa Melton; and great nephew and nieces, Hunter Melton, Marissa Melton and Meranda Smith (Chris).
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 14, at Groce Funeral Home, Patton Avenue.

I grew up with Tommy and went to school with him. We were your
neighbors on Morningside Drive (the Taylors). He was our very first
friend to greet us when we moved to Asheville. This was probably
about 45 years ago and still remember his sweet friendship.
