Thomas Edward Crawford, Sr.

Mr. Crawford was a native of Anderson, SC and was a son of the late Ernest Duard and Amy Marie Adams Crawford. He was the husband of Jean Moss Crawford.
He was a US Marine Corps veteran and served during WW II. He retired as manager of CC Dickson Co. of Asheville and was a former deacon and member of Biltmore Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Angela Burton of Asheville, Candis Hinman and husband Tim of Fletcher; two sons, Thomas Edward Crawford, Jr. and wife Lynn of Plant City, Fla., David Crawford and wife Pam of Fletcher; eight grandchildren, Heather Horrell and husband Douglas, Carole, Christine, Christopher, Ryan, Cody, Lauren, and Carson; and one great-grandson, Gavin.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 29, 2000 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian with the Reverends Harold Savell and Gayle Brown officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the memorial service from 1:30 until 3:00 pm. Interment will be in Calvary Episcopal Churchyard in Fletcher.
