Tony K. Blalock

He was a native of Orange County, NC and was a carpenter with
M.F.G. Housing Service.  He was a member of the United Hebrew Congregations and was preceded in death by a special friend, Herbie Hall.

He is survived by his wife, Crystal Sheppard Blalock;  his mother, Doris Blalock of Efland, NC, his father, Bruce Blalock and his friend, Brenda
Adams of Marion,  two sisters, Brenda Overton and Sarah Blalock of Efland;  a brother, Kevin Blalock of Efland;  his grandmother Pansy Blalock of Canton; seven children, Melissa Blalock of Cedar Grove, Josh, Ashley, and Chester Blalock all of Waynesville, and Angel, Sunshine and Freddie Stanley all of the home;  three grandchildren, Brittany Stanley, Tristan Towe, and Delaney Blalock;  an uncle Chester Cochran of Canton and a special friend, Mike Weeks.

Funeral services will be at 6:00 pm Wednesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. David Honeycutt officiating.

Interment will be at 11:00 am Thursday at Crawford-Ray Memorial Park, Clyde
with the Rev. Ed Lowder officiating.

Pallbearers will be Mike Cochran, Mike Weeks, Ronnie Beneville, Freddie Stanley, Randy Wilkerson, and Sammy Blalock.

His family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday
evening immediately following the service until 8:30 pm and at other times will be at the residence, or at his grandmother’s house, 5568 Dutch Cove Road, Canton.
