Vaughn M. Warren
Candler - Vaughn M. Warren, 71, a lifelong resident of Candler, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019, at his home.
Vaughn was a son of the late Roy Melvin and Nellie James Warren, and was also preceded in death by two sisters and seven brothers.
He served with the US Army in Vietnam and received his degree in Criminal Justice from A-B Tech. He worked at Enka for 16 years and retired from the Security Department of A-B Tech.
His family include his wife, Leslie Warren; daughter, Stephanie Barbara Warren, and sons, Clifford Marcell Warren (Michelle) and Adam Bradley Warren; nine grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; two sisters, Barbara Briggs (Harold) and Henrietta Hoglen (Jim) and a brother, Rollins Warren (Beverly).
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Pisgah Methodist Cemetery (Spirit Life), with Pastor Jeff Massey officiating. Military honors will be provided by the NC National Guard Memorial Team.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The USO (www.USO.org).
Cliff, I pray you carry the memories of your father in your heart and make you smile when you think of him. I am deeply sorry for your loss. May God bless your family.
