Viola Jeanette Wills Wilds, 84, of Vance Crescent Ext., Asheville, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013.
A native of Madison Co., she was a daughter of the late Burnette and Eulala Wills. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Albert Wilds Sr., on May 26, 2012, and by her son, Albert Auburn Wilds, Jr., on November 12, 2012.
Mrs. Wilds worked as the office manager for Smokey Mtn. Petroleum. She was a member of Haywood St. United Methodist Church (now Central United Methodist).
Mrs. Wilds is survived by her son, Timothy Wilds and his wife, Jenny; daughter-in-law Mary Ann Wilds; and grandchildren Albert Wilds III, William Wilds, Evangeline Wilds, and Amelia Wilds.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 25th, 2013, at Central United Methodist Church, with interment in the Memorial Garden. A reception will follow.

Viola was a wonderful neighbor and friend. I will miss her greatly. My prayers are with all of the family.
I remember Mrs. Wilds from my earliest childhood memories at Haywood Street UMC. She was a blessing to all who came into contact with her. May she rest in peace.

Our loved ones don’t really leave us; a part of them lives on in us, through all of the fond memories. They stay in our hearts forever.
