Virginia Webb Cameron, 75, formerly of Lakeshore Drive,
Asheville, died Monday, December 2,
2002, in an Asheville hospital.
Mrs. Cameron was born in Mitchell County and was a daughter of the late Oscar C. and Esther Conley Webb, Sr. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Stella
Armstrong and by her husband
Carlton M. Cameron who died in
1994, and with whom she worked at
Cameron Appliance and Kitchen
Center in Asheville.
She is survived by three sons, Carl Cameron and his wife Sharon of Brevard, Barry Cameron of
Apex, and Jared Cameron and his
wife Cathy of Arden; five
grandchildren, Kendra Jarvis, Katie
Weathers, and Ryan, Megan and
Michelle Cameron; a sister, Nina
Moore of Asheville and a brother,
Oscar C. Webb, Jr., of Bakersville.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Friday at Bee Tree Baptist
Church with the Revs. Joe Hayes and
Larry Carver officiating. Burial will be in the Bee Tree Baptist Church Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Thursday at
Groce Funeral Home on Patton
Avenue.

Sorry for the loss of you mother and a special lady. There are so many sweet memories we have of her. She was one of God’s finest.

She raised a wonderful son who has helped me through alot. Many people say that it is best to judge people by their children. This was a great woman then. I wish I could have known her. My prayers are with you all.
