Bill and Family, By coincidence we were having our Class of 43 dinner last evening when Martha brought us the distressing news about Virginia. Her passing brings the known deceased total in the Class of 43 to 189. Regardless of age, health, or any other circumstance we are never ready to lose our loved ones. The only comfort has to come from a real Faith in the Sovereignty of God and the manifested concern of caring friends. We are thinking of you and your family and will hold you in our prayers. We hope it helps to know others do care. We will miss that wonderful smile. Zunita and Joe Clark
Lisa and family, am saddened to hear of Virginia’s passing. She was a sweet, lovely friend that I’ve know since childhood, when we grew up on the same street. Then I was privileged to have you as one of my sweet students at Enka. I will keep you all in my thoughts. Love, Jane

Virginia was and is a very important person in my life. I spent time with her often as a child and as an adult. She is my Mom’s first cousin and was also a very good friend to my Mom. I can recall many fun outings with the Stevens. My husband, Hugo and I were able to celebrate Virginia and Bill’s 50th Wedding Anniversary with them at the home of Vicki and Keith Stevens. I am happy she is resting in peace and offer my support and condolences to her immediate family during this time of grief.
