Weldon H. Warren

Mr. Warren was a son of the late Weldon H. and Etta Morgan Warren and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Teena Strange and Betty Ellen King. He was an Army veteran of WW II and was an insurance agent.
Surviving are his wife, Edith Preston Warren; one son, George P. Warren and his wife Valarie of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, one grandson, George P. Warren, Jr., of Tampa, FL; four sisters, Grethel Cooper and Juanice Warren of Asheville, Mattiewood McCurry of Candler, and Violet Ducker of Mills River and three brothers, Sam L. Warren of Desert Hot Springs, CA, Bob L. Warren, of Baltimore, MD, and Levon Warren of Candler.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm Saturday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan McCurry and Mr. Ryan Ducker officiating. Burial will be at Piney Mountain United Methodist Church Cemetery.
His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
