Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. We are so blessed to have met Bill at Haywood House. His kind smile and sweet nature was a blessing to us. We will always remember him as being a friend to Ricky. We are happy that he is now with his Savior and loved ones and is no longer suffering.

  2. Bill and Wanda were sweet friends to us for many many years and we have such happy memories of being with them in church, visiting them at their barber shop, talking walks at the mall and going out to eat. We know without a doubt Bill is now with his sweet Wanda who he loved and absolutely adored. They both are rejoicing in the presence of Jesus at their final resting place, and as much as they loved us all, they would not come back here. We want to express our since condolences to all of Bill’s families during this adjustment period.

  3. Bill and Wanda Wilde were the best. We worshiped at West Asheville Baptist Church with them for many years. When my late husband, Alvin Morgan, answered the call to Pastoral Ministry, Bill and Wanda were supportive of us at that time. Always a sweet smile and caring heart would be indicative of them. I send sympathy and love to this family today who remain to cherish every memory. Priscilla Morgan

  4. Bill was a wonderful man who will be sorely missed. We enjoyed having many lunches with him and his lovely wife Wanda. It was very interesting to hear William talk about his experiences in the Navy as well as his missionary trips abroad. The most outstanding characteristic about Bill was clearly his undying love for Wanda. Now, at last, they are reunited again. RIP.

  5. I am the SC niece of Grace Beale ( passed 9-16-18) who dearly loved Wanda and Bill. Grace was heartbroken when Wanda passed away, we reminisced often about the great friendship.
Wanda and Bill also cut my Uncle Frank Scroggs hair at home until he passed at 100 years of age. They were wonderful friends I had the pleasure of meeting many times and you have my deepest sympathy.

  6. Ann, I am sorry about the passing of your dad. I recall meeting him at your wedding and a few more times over the years. His smile reflects the kind, giving person he was.

  7. Elaine, I am so proud of you, you fulfilled your promise and beyond
Bill was extremely blessed to have you in his life
    No one gave greater care
I know Wanda would say job well done
God bless you and the rest of the family in your time of grief.
    Love you

  8. Bill and Wanda were our neighbors when they lived in Weaverville. He and Wanda were such a sweet couple. We always enjoyed talking with them. We miss them both, and the family is in our prayers.

  11. So very sorry to hear of the passing of Bill. I have known him and Wanda for so many years as a member at West Asheville Baptist Church. They were such faithful servants. Now they both are in the presence of our Lord Jesus. May the Lord bless and comfort the family.

  12. God Bless the family. I know Bill and Wanda are rejoicing In heaven. I met them when I joined WAB about 13 years ago and was in SS class with them and they were such sweet and loving people, always helping others.

So many families were blessed with the food they brought to their homes ! They did so much for West Asheville Baptist Church! What rejoicing they must be having in heaven now ! We have such wonderful memories of them both! Our sincere condolences to the families and our prayers will be with you .

  15. Bill and Wanda were such good friends for Joe and me. We would go out to eat
t and Bill and Joe would see who could eat the most. We went to several of those visits where you looked at vacation sites and received luggage or a free dinner. The two of them cared so much for other people who were homeless or very poor. they loved doing White Christmas at West Asheville Baptist. They truly showed the Christtian spirit to others. Blessed that they are together now.
