I was Ed’s nurse with Dr. Kauffman. I grew to love Ed dearly and just learned of his passing. I will miss Ed as I would miss my own grandfather. He was a very special man and will remain in my heart always. As will Joyce. May he enter into the Kingdom of Heaven and be one of the newest Angels and shine each and every night as the brightest star. I will always remember the laughs that Ed, Joyce and I shared and the wonderful stories he shared with my son. I will miss him dearly.
Dearest Joyce and Family

It is with much sadness to hear about Ed’s passing. I remember all the wonderful times we had on the ballfield not just in Hendersonville but all the other places we played in tournaments. He was a ‘quiet’ person but a great coach. I respected him and absolutely love his family. I had the great opportunity to play with Theresa, Doris and Lisa and I am truly honored to say I enjoyed every minute. My mom passed away on the 11th, and I know exactly what you all are going through. I love you and may God comfort you now and forever.
Love,
