Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Larry & Family,

It broke my heart to hear of Bill’s passing, he was a wonderful man and I will always treasure the memories of working in his store. He hired me ‘against all odds’ and was a great influence and mentor in my life from that point forward. Please know that we are thinking of you in this sad time and that you will be in our prayers.

    God Bless,

    Jerry & Carol Hagan

  2. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. Bill was a fine and caring person and will be missed in the community. Gladys has many memories of knowing him in elementary school, junior high, and the part of high school before she moved away and we both are very appreciative of what both of you meant to our son, David, in the time that he worked with you at the drugstore. It was a good experience for him as a teenager!

We also remember Bill for his volunteering days at MMH!

    Love, Don and Gladys Jones

  3. Sorry to hear that Bill has passed away. He is in a much better place and no longer has any handicaps. My Mom, Shirley Gentry, thought the world of you & Bill. You and your family will be in my prayers and thoughts as you go through this difficult time. Take care Debbie

  4. I am sorry to hear about the passing of Bill. He was a role model of fitness for many people with disabilites. He was just a nice person. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  7. Dear Mrs. Sisk,
I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Sisk’s passing. You both are like second parents to me. I will never forget all of the time I spent growing up in your home. One of my fondest memories is when your family included me on a trip to Beaver Lake after it had frozen over. I remember being awed and amused as we glided across the icy surface. There are many, many more happy memories (too numerous to mention); however, I share in your sorrow and wish only the best for you as time goes forward.
    All my love,
    Lynn

  8. My Mom and Dad (Don and Gladys Jones) sent me an email about Mr. Sisk passing away. I was sorry to hear that news.

I remember fondly my days working at the drug store and the fun times we had even though we were ‘working’.
I remember how we were paid in cash and how we could keep a running tab on things we bought during the week. I think I often spent half of my paycheck on candy each week. I have lots of good memories of working at Malvern Hills Pharmacy and getting to know the Sisk family.

I will be remembering your family during these difficult and sad days. My prayers will be with you.

    David Jones

  9. So sorry to hear of your loss, know my thoughts are with you all. Many, many memories come flooding back – it’s amazing how those few years together shaped my life, and those around me. I will cherish them always, and hope that future days bring some comfort and peace.

    love,
    Alan
