Wilma Payne Farley

Wilma Payne Farley, 75, of 24 Rangeview Acres, Candler, died Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at the Hospice Solace Center. Mrs. Farley was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Luther L. and Georgia Cook Payne. She was married to Louis A. Farley who died in 1996 and was retired from General Foods where she served as credit manager. She is survived by one brother, Bill Payne of Newport News, VA and two sisters, Margaret Morgan of Candler and Mildred Payne of Bremerton, WA. Funeral services will be at 5:30 pm Wednesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Jackie Collins officiating. Her family will receive friends immediately following the Service and at other times the family will be at the home of the sister on Cleves Drive off of Morgan Cove Rd., in Candler. Burial will be at 12:30 PM Thursday at Crest Lawn Memorial Park in Atlanta. The Family requests that memorials be made to the Mountian Area Hospice, PO Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813.
