Adam Smith

Kristopher Adam Smith, 32, passed away in Nashville, TN.

Adam was a native of Asheville and is survived by his mother, Michelle Gillespie, of Nashville, TN, and father and step-mother, Daryl Ray Smith and Patty Smith, of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his sister, Brittany Felicia Nicole Smith; brother, Travis Micheal Smith; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Adam will be remembered as a kindhearted young man who would often go out of his way to help others, particularly the elderly. He enjoyed music and loved his family very much.

Adam will lie in repose at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. for those who wish to pay their respects and visit with his family. A memorial service will then be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Green Hills Cemetery. Masks are required at the funeral home and cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any local charity assisting those struggling with addiction.
