  5. What a legacy of love this precious woman has left behind for us to remember! I know that who I am today is because of who she was, and the fact that she always believed in me when I did not seem able to believe in myself.

She loved me and my family, and nurtured and guided us when we needed help knowing her Lord and Savior. She was and is so beautiful. I am sorry for all of our loss, and especially for yours, Glenn, Glenda, Tom, and Bill, for the world as we know it on this side, is much diminished.

You are always close in my thoughts and prayers, but I lift you all higher in love today.

Mr. and Mrs. Leatherwood welcomed me and my children into the family with open arms when I married Eddie. Their love for family truly left an impression in my life.
