Albert A. Warren

Mr. Warren was a native of Buncombe County and was a son of Christine Warren Robinson of Dumphries, VA.  He was an Air Force veteran of Vietnam and was a retired letter carrier with the US Postal Service.  He was a member of White Rock Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter and her husband, Debbie and Mike Kuykendall, a son and his wife, David and Irma Warren;  four grandchildren, Amy and Jill Kuykendall, Jessica Warren and Tara Smith;  three sisters, Glenda Schreiber, Ella Gramling, and Brenda Moser;  his companion, Dorothy Sluder;  her children Scott Sluder and his wife Susan, Tifany Richey and her husband Paul, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue with the Rev. Karl Zielke officiating.  Burial will be iin White Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.   Military rites will be provided by the Enka High School Air Force Junior ROTC Unit.

His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home and request that memorials be made to White Rock Baptist Church, PO Box 1277, Candler, NC 28715.
