Alice was an Angel on earth! I have lots of wonderful memories of Sunday school, VBS and sitting with her during church. She was a huge influence in my decision to give my life to Christ. I will forever remember her beautiful soul, sweetness and hugs! She blessed my young life more than she probably ever knew.
Alice was a beloved classmate at Enka High School who touched the life of everyone she met. She was one of the most truly Christian people I have ever known and smiled through every hardship. For many years, she kept in touch with so many of us and I will smile every time I think of her. Alice, you were a shining light and you will be missed.
I am sure I’ll see Alice in heaven for she always had a word about her savior. She was always happy and bubbly when I was near her. She will be missed. Well done Alice.
Chip,
I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was so special to many people. She taught Sunday School and worked with the youth at Edgewood Baptist Church where she was a big influence on me. She also cut and did my hair and was a friend to my grandmother Ethel McMahan.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Alice led me to the Lord many years ago as a young girl. She was my Sunday School teacher for many years and she was one of my Mother’s closest friends. I spent a lot of time with sweet Alice and will forever be grateful for the role she played in my life. I will see her again. She is with our Savior, no doubt about it!!

I loved Ms Alice. She was like a second grandmother to me. She taught me so much about God and how to pray. She is rejoicing in heaven right now. She was a faith filled woman and touched the lives of everyone she met. I know I’ll see her again one day.
As our next door neighbor growing up in enka… Alice and her family were special to us. When my parents moved to Haywood county, the house our dad built was purchased by Alice and Don for their son. She was always supportive of the church and our family.

She was always studying her Bible and always had an encouraging word on the soon coming of our Lord! Know that she is now with her Jesus and in her new body! We will always remember Aunt Alice with love!

Alice was the best neighbor anyone could ever asked for . Alice always shared her faith with all of us and especially to the all of the young kids growing up on this street ,This neighborhood will never be the same without Alice .
Chip, what a sweet home going memory. Alice loved everyone, but Chip, she loved you more than anything or anyone. Thinking how much she loved all of us is a memory I’ll always have! She longed for home! To be absent in the body is to present with the Lord. Anyone who knows your sweet Moma knows she is present with the Lord! Love you, brother!

We love and miss you Alice Chad , Lillie , Renee
I will miss knowing she is in her home reading her Bible and praying for those she dearly loved. I am sure she is happy to be in her Heavenly home with all those she loves so much and those she prayed for who finally gave their lives to God.
I love you, Alice, and thank you for all the memories.
