Alice Soper was a good ‘soldier’ in all of life. In the years I knew her best, she was always interested and involved in the welfare of others; a good life well lived. Our sympathy to her family in their loss.
Dear Virginia and Donna Alice: I just saw the obit for sweet, little Alice. I am so very sorry. I remember well the time she came to have the clot removed from her brain while I was working at the VA in Durham. The surgeons let me watch the operation, and I really enjoyed getting to know her. She was a spunky lady and made me laugh a lot. I am coming to see you both really soon. You both know I love you to death and always have. Once again, I am very sorry for Alice’s death. Love always, Dorothy Milton Candler-Fisher
Thinking of you all.
Our beloved Aunt Alice will always be remembered for her love for life. I am honored to have known her in my lifetime! She will be missed!
We have fond memories of Aunt Alice and she will be missed. During my last visit she wanted to see what I looked like so she pulled my head close so that our foreheads touched- I thought that was so cute. Also, I’ll remember her for calling Robbie her ‘little worm’. Hope to see you soon- will keep you in our prayers.
Alice’s Westie friends, Puff and Piper, join me in saluting one of the great ones and a friend we will truly miss.
