Aline Elizabeth Guill Kilby, 69, died Monday, July 4, 2011, at Mountain Ridge Wellness Center.
She was a native of Greensboro, NC, and was the daughter of the late Jack and Margaret Morton Guill.
Mrs. Kilby is survived by her husband, Garry Kilby; one daughter, Angelia Marie DeTuccio of Austin, TX.; one grandchild, and a brother, Gordon Guill of Fletcher.
A memorial service for Mrs. Kilby will be in the Tunnel Rd. chapel of Groce Funeral Home, Saturday, July 9, at 2:00 p.m. The Revs. Ken Kelly and Robbie Leighton will officiate.
Her family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

I was so so sorry to hear of Aline’s passing. She was a very dear friend and I just pray God’s loving arms of mercy wrap around your family and comfort you. My love and prayers always.
I will miss chatting with Aline, always cheerful and upbeat despite the illness that she faced with such bravery. I will always think of her as one of the sweetest neighbors I’ve ever had. I know her spirit is soaring now. May God bless and keep her family through this time of loss.

So sorry to hear of Aline’s passing. I only heard about it today from Al at church. She fought a long and hard fight. But the good news is she won. She can now enjoy all that the Lord has promised to those that believe. You have our family’s sympathy in this time of loss.
