Ann Loretta Petruzzelli Geary, 91, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022.
A native of South Orange, NJ, Ann was a daughter of the late Charles and Philomena Petruzzelli. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard David Geary; sister, Phyllis “Dolly;” and brothers, Anthony and Lawrence.
She is survived by her sister, Marie Zimbile; children, Patti Marsan (Will), of New Jersey, Richard Geary (Sue), of Georgia, Donna Norris (Bob), of New Jersey, Maureen Charron (Tim), of Nevada, and Diane Powers (Brian Gillions), of Virginia; grandchildren, David Marsan (Emily), Douglas Marsan (Corinne), Daniel Marsan, Nikki McNab (Neil), Richard Geary (Amanda), Kevin Geary, Kelly Santa Maria (Stephan), John Norris, Erin Norris, Andrew Powers, Amanda Powers, and Lauren Powers; and great-grandchildren, Finley McNab, Aria McNab, Thatcher McNab, Burkleigh Santa Maria, Wrennley Geary, Madeline Marsan and Peter Marsan.
The memorial Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at the Basilica of St. Lawrence, downtown Asheville, NC. Inurnment will follow at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Black Mountain, NC.
