ANNA ANDERSON GRAUPE Anna Elizabeth “Betty” Anderson Graupe, 83, of Swannanoa, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 26, 2003. Betty was a native of Brooks County, GA, and was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Robert Edwin McClure of Atlanta, GA, her first husband, Harvey Carl Anderson of Hollywood, FL, a brother, Robert Edwin McClure, Jr. of Miami, FL, and a sister Dorothy, of Dahlonega, GA. She was a school teacher for many years at West Hollywood Elementary School in Hollywood, FL. She is survived by her husband, Kurt Graupe of Swannanoa; a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Doug Berner of Swannanoa; a son and daughter-in-law, Denis and Robin Anderson of Candler; grandchildren Sean Anderson of Lawton, OK, Eric Anderson of Candler, Devin Anderson of Greensboro, Lauren Anderson of Candler, and Mark Anderson of Candler; and great-grandchildren, Carissa and Sean Michael Anderson of Lawton, OK. A private memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday at Groce Funeral home on Patton Avenue. Anna Elizabeth McClure has now gone back, near the banks of the Chattahoochee, the Warsaw Church, the red brick house, and the red clay of home. Betty was loved by all who knew her and will always be in our hearts.
