Annie Mae Grooms Reeves

Annie Mae Grooms Reeves, 91, died Saturday, March 5, 2016, at Aston Park Health Care Center. A native of Madison County, Mrs. Reeves was the daughter of the late Columbus R. and Maggie Baldwin Grooms. She was married to Roy Blaine Reeves who died in 1990. Mrs. Reeves was retired from Square D and she was a member of Little Sandy United Methodist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Patsy Rymer (Phil), Judy Lominac (Rex) and Peggy Anderson (Eddie), three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday at Little Sandy United Methodist Church with the Rev. William Wombough officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue. Because of her love of flowers, flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Manna Food Bank, 629 Swannanoa River Rd., Asheville, NC 28805.
