Argyle Radcliffe Baldwin, 86, died Monday, November 1, 2004, at her home, 455 Victoria Road, Asheville. Mrs. Baldwin was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Hilary and Kitty Martin Radcliffe. She was married to Claude Baldwin who died in 1999. She was a former nurses aide and was a member of Biltmore Baptist Church. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Ronald E. and Patricia Baldwin of Cumming, GA; three grandchildren Emily, Whitney and William Baldwin, all of Cumming; and one sister Dicie Revis of Rutherfordton. A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mountain View Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Enoch Ball officiating. Her family will receive friends from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity.

  1. I am one of the CNA’s at Magnolia Health Care Center.I am sorry for your lost. I only work on the weekends so maybe that is why I never got a chance to meet any of Argyle’s family. I really enjoyed the time that we spent together. I am glad that I got a chance to meet her. She will be missed.
