ARLIN WORLEY
ASHEVILLE – Arlin Worley, 77, of Appalachian Way, Asheville, died on Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at the Elizabeth House.
A native of Madison Co., Mr. Worley was the son of the late Chester and Allie Worley. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Nanette Kerr, of Glendale, who passed away on April 15, 2004.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Johnston; daughters, Patricia Searcy, of Asheville, Michelle Kubik, of Belleville, Yvonne Richardson, of Phoenix; son, Bruce Richardson, of Belleville; sister, Grace Ballew, of Asheville; 13 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service for Mr. Worley will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday at the Groce Funeral Home chapel on Patton Ave. with the Rev. Adam Coates officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
His family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service.
