Dearest Linda, How sad I was to read of Arnold’s passing. How many fond memories I have of our good times at the Little Boy. You two became very good friends and I will always treasurer that friendship. I know how close the two of you have been all these years and I know there is a hole in your heart that cannot be filled. I’ve been through it myself, as you know. Take care and know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
God bless,
Juanita

I am so sorry to hear about Arnold. After the Little Boy closed we lost contact but know that I will never loose those memories of all of us at the resturant. Me and Kacey waiting on you guys and laughing the whole time. we had so much fun and I will never forget it all. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I love you Sheri
Linda, I am thinking about you and love you. Soon I will call you so we can talk. Be strong with all the love around you, but grieve as long as you want to, too. Many many people are going to miss our Dear Arnold. By the grace of God, he is now at peace. What a blessing that Maria, Vicki and Jess were able to come see both of you while he was still with us. Love, Delores

Arnold and Linda were considered as the Godparents of myself Vicki DeGraff Herbst,Mary Ann Degraff Ham,Delores DeGraff Parker,Maria DeGraff Horton. They were great friends of my parents.Arnold needed a place to stay while he was working out of town and my parents Hugh(DE)and Hilda DeGraff had a room for rent.Ole tale is that I Vicki was Arnolds daughter. He apperntly had a day off while my dad was working. .His eyes were blue as were mine, not my parents. This was a fun joke for I am not his daughter .We have fond memories of spending time at the home of Arnold and Linda and many camping trips with them.
We have been so blessed to have known Arnold. Finally he is in heaven with my mom Hilda DeGraff and Hugh DeGraff.
I will miss his laugh and smile.I am grateful to have visited him a week before he passed on.He will live in my heart forever.
Vicki

Dear Linda,
We are very saddened to learn of Arnold’s passing. He was a true gentleman, and a wonderful mentor to work with. I remember him advising us to plant perennials in the garden, and think of him when we plant them to this day. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
With love,
Mark and May Asma
Dear Linda,
Although we will miss our dear Arnold we know he is now truly at home, hopefully seeing our dear parents once again. You Linda have lost your life mate and I pray that memories will always comfort you as they will all of us. Even today I can hear Moma calling to say ‘Linda and Arnold are here!’ as it was so wonderful to see you both, our Godparents! I know Arnold will be looking down on you each and everyday, anxiously awaiting the day you will reunite once again. Take care and again find comfort in those who love you very much. We are here for you and always will be.
We love you,
Mary Anne (Jess) and Bill Ham
To:
Linda ,,,,,and all the Arnold Wilson family,,,,,
I was sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Wilson,,,,
You folks probably do not know me, but I knew Arnold, and considered him a great friend, even though our acquaintance was silent,,,
He hired me at Champion Papers, when I ‘desperately’ needed a job, and we communicated at various times over the years,,,,,
I later, left the paper mill, and went into business.
I never forgot what Mr. Wilson did for me, as I worked for Champion at three different times.
My prayers and thoughts are with you during these times of enormous loss,,,,,

Arnold and I were High School class-mates. He sang baritone in our High School quartet. Arnold was certainly one of the best men I’ve ever known. He was an intelligent man, A sensitive and compassionate man and a man of good common sense. Arnold, we’ll miss you.
We would like to extend our sympathy to the whole family.

To the Arnold Wilson Family
When we moved to the Asheville area and worked at the Canton Mill in the early 80’s, we needed guidance in house buying, schools, and the area in general, Arnold was the man that we turned to. He was one of the kindest and most helpful people that I have ever worked with. We count it a blessing to have had him as a friend during our time in Western North Carolina.
Our thoughts and Prayers are with you during these difficult times.
May God bless each of you!
