  2. We would like to send our heart felt condolences for your loss of Arthell. May God’s grace be abundant as you go through this time of earthly separation. Knowing that one day we as Christians will be reunited with our loved ones.

    Just a Note:
I am the youngest daughter of Clell and Willa Mae Silver. Phyllis and I were almost the same age, and I so admired her wonderful athletic ability, and was sadden by the news that she health issues that had prevented her from carrying out her life’s ambitions. I know she would have been a leader in whatever she attempted.
My parents always loved Arthell and his family, and often spoke so highly of him. They always looked forward to, and enjoyed, having him stop by just to set on the porch and chat. And if you knew anything at all about my Mom you would know he would be served something yummy from her kitchen. She was a wonderful lady and always made those who came into her home feel so special and ‘full’ when they left.

I would love to make contact with Phyllis. Mary Jo said she was in a nursing home in Fletcher, but couldn’t tell me the name. If someone would get that information to me I would be greatly appreciative.

    Our prayers are with you….

  3. To Mary Jo and Family, I extend my deepest sympathies. My fondest memory of Arthell was coming to our house and playing Bluegrass. He will surely be missed.

  4. Dear Family,
I want to exprss my deepest sympathy to you in the death of Arthell. He worked for me at St. Joseph’s Hospital for many years. I did not just see him as an employee, but as a good friend. I’d lost touch with him over the past few years, but thought of him often.
