Dorothy and Family, I remember both Andy and you being in the Class of 42 and I was in 43. I still think of the present Groce location as being the old Anderson Home. Regardless of age, health, or any other circumstance in life we are never ready to give up our loved ones. The only comfort comes from a Real Faith in the Complete Sovereignty of God and the manifested concern of caring friends. Please know we are thinking of you and will remember you in our prayers. Joe and Zunita Clark

Dorothy & Family, Locke and I cannot begin to tell you how sorry we are about Andy’s passing. We will never forget when you had the video store on Haywood Rd. And going in there to see Andy ‘around the corner’ watching UNC play ball. Y’all were good to so many people. We always looked forward to getting the ‘Calendar’ from Andy. We will never forget your letting Locke use the videos when he was laid up with pneumonia. We know all of you are good, christian people, and that God will see you through this. He will walk by your side and hold your hand. Remember ‘Peaches’ (our dog) running around and around the video store?? I can just see Andy sitting there watching her! There are so many memories it would take us days to write it down. May God Bless you all. Andy will be sorely missed by us. I wish I could do something, but just remember—-We are here for you, and you know where we live!! All our sympathy and Love, Nancy, Locke, and ‘Peaches’ Hyatt
Mrs. Anderson & Dottie,
My thoughts and prayers are with you often, but especially now. I’m very sorry for your loss. I think of you all frequently and remember how fortunate I am to have had you in my life.
With love,
Beverly Beach Whitmore
Mrs. Anderson and family,
As I read thru the Enterprise, a familiar name appeared, and reminded me of the good times spent at your house when I was younger. My dad, Junior, thought highly of you and your husband. He passed four years ago and he is missed very much,
as your husband will also be. My prayers are with you and your family.
I was sorry to hear about Mr. Anderson. I remember him from Hudson’s Drug Store in Stuart; a real nice man. I also remember Mrs. Anderson’s days as a Cub Scout den mother, when she gladly opened up her home to a bunch of rowdy little boys, including myself. Those days are very special to me, and even though the Anderson family moved away from Stuart I still remember you and my prayers certainly are with you all in your time of grief.
