Barbara was a dear friend and mentor. When I began teaching at Valley Springs, Barbara immediately took me under her wing and guided me through that challenging first year. She was an excellent teacher. We enjoyed a long and loving friendship for over 40 years. She will be greatly missed. My sympathy to her family that she loved so deeply.
Barbara and Johnny always had a sweet smile for everyone. Cherished our times together at Arden 1st.
Jeff and Jon, We are so sorry to learn of your mother’s passing. Remember the good times. She was a wonderfully gracious person.
On behalf of the Talley family I want to let you know Mrs. Loftin was so special to us all for many years. Very sorry for your loss.

What a lovely lady. She was one of my favorite teachers. I have never forgotten how she taught us in 7th grade how to sing Jingle Bells in French!
My husband Scott and I both adored Barbara. We’re so sorry to hear about her passing. Barbara was such a bright light in so many lives. She truly blessed our lives. We’re praying that God will bring you and your family comfort and peace.
Jeff, John and I send you love, prayers, and condolences, to you and your entire family. We remember your sweet mother and daddy from Arden First Baptist. Take comfort in knowing your beautiful mother is now at peace with Alzheimer’s gone forever. She’s reunited with your Dad, brother, and her Savior in her Heavenly home.
