Barbara Ann Wilson Alexander, 86, of Asheville, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at the CarePartners Solace Center.

A native of Buncombe Co., Mrs. Alexander was a daughter of the late David and Reva Wilson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Alexander, son, Matthew Scott Alexander, and sister, Joyce Blazer.

Mrs. Alexander was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Asheville, where she served faithfully at the Welcome Center.

Surviving is her son, Robert Alexander; grandson, Zach Alexander; and sister, Betty Wright.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with Pastor Allen Rash officiating. Interment will follow at Lewis Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
