Barbara Anne Cook Macon

Barbara Anne Cook Macon, 82, of Fletcher, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023 at the CarePartners Solace Center.

A native of Canton, Barbara was a daughter of the late Talmadge and Annie Mae Haynes Cook. She was also preceded in death by her son, William “Cully” Macon, III. Mrs. Macon graduated from Blanton’s Business College, and was a former member of Central United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Thomas “Tom” Macon, III; son, Thomas Macon, V (Erin); grandchildren, Thekla Macon, Laura Macon McElroy (Brandon), Tommy Macon, Mary Macon, Jesse Macon and Tyler Macon; great-grandchildren, Macon and Orion McElroy; and a brother, Bobby Cooke.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20 in the Patton Avenue Chapel of Groce Funeral Home.
