Barbara “Bobbie” Jean Davis Potter, 74, of Asheville, North Carolina passed away on
Wednesday, December 29, 2021. She was born in Greenville, Texas to the late Charles Wesley Davis and Jean Barbara Brander-Lainen.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Dan Potter; a daughter, Jennifer Jean Wilkinson of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren; Aidan, Anson, Olivia and Sophia. She is also survived by a sister, Debbie Gudenzi of Charlotte, NC and loving nephews and niece; Charlie, Jon and Madison.

A Memorial Service is planned for Wednesday, January 5, 2021 at 5 pm, Groce United Methodist Church on 954 Tunnel Road in Asheville, NC with the Rev. Gerald Davis, officiating.
A private burial is planned for the family.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.

We pray for Dan as he faces the days ahead and for her daughter, grandchildren, sister, nephews & niece. May each of you feel God’s presence & peace.

  2. Gary and I are so deeply sorry for your loss Dan, Jennifer, Debbie, the grandchildren and Bobbi’s nieces & nephews. Bobbi was a beautiful lady inside and out and always had a great smile. I remember when she used to sing in the choir. Our prayers, love, hugs go out to all of you. Heaven has gained another guardian angel looking down over all of us. Please know all of you are in our daily thoughts & prayers during this difficult time.

  3. We are all so deeply sorry to hear about Bobbi’s passing. Our deepest condolences go out to our long time friend Dan, their daughter Debbie and her children , Debbie her sister, and all her nieces and nephews.
    Bobbi was such a beautiful lady inside and out and was always friendly and had that big smile on her face. She definitely enjoyed singing in the choir and attending all the bible studies at Groce United Methodist Church. She always supported the UMW and all their missions. We are all sending out our thoughts, prayers, love, hugs to all her family and friends during this difficult time.
    Heaven has definitely gained another angel who is looking down over all her family and friends. RIP Bobbi.
