  1. My sincere condolence to the Bennett family for your loss. Even though I personally didn’t know Barbara, I know she will be truly missed! I enjoy sharing the Bibles promises about the hope for the dead, which can bring comfort to us , helping us to deal with the sorrow-Rom. 15:4, 2 Cor. 1:3, 4!
Jehovah God(Ps 83:18) promises that our enemy death will brought to nothing-1 Cor. 15:26! This isn`t the only scripture that lets us know that death will reach its end, for Rev 21:4,5 lets us know that death, along with the tears of sorrow will pass away; be no more! According to these scriptures, there will be a victory over death! How do we know that this will take place? Jehovah words are faithful and true and he can’t lie-Titus 1:2! We can put our full trust and confidence in Jehovah promises!
Jehovah also does promise a hope for our dead loved ones. By sending his son Jesus Christ to the earth to die for us, and resurrecting him, we have the priceless hope of being able to be resurrected, and to live forever-John 3:16! Jesus helps us to appreciate, that we can be reunited with our dead loved ones by means of the resurrection-John 5:28, 29! Jehovah has given Jesus the keys of death and the grave, so we can we look forward to one day Jesus calling our dead loved ones names, just like Lazarus, and they will come out the grave-Rev 1:18, John 11:11-45!
Please feel free to visit the official website of Jehovah Witnesses at http://www.jw.org, to read Chapter 7 of the Book-What Does The Bible Really Teach? That chapter title is “Real Hope for Our Loved Ones Who Have Died“. To access the book, when you get to the website go to publications, then books/brochures, and in the search box type in the book name. You can read it online or you can download it on your computer, or to your mobile device. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at jkingdom90@gmail.com. May your family be comforted!

  2. Craig so sorry to hear of Barb’s passing she was a dear friend . We enjoyed working together at the library. Prayers are with the family

  3. So sad to hear of Barbara’s passing, Craig. It must have been a sweet moment when Jesus said, ‘welcome home’ as He wrapped her in His arms. I’m delighted that God allowed our paths to cross. I will always remember her as the godly woman she is with a gentle, quiet spirit. Thanks for the fond memories of being in Bethel class with you two.

  4. Dear Craig, Barbara put up such a strong fight against her cancer. She will be missed. She was a positive inspiration appearing upbeat during difficult times during her struggle. I and the members of The Encouragers’ Sunday School Class at North Lake Presbyterian Church send our sympathy and love.

  5. I am deeply sorry for your loss. My dearest condolences to the Bennett family. Sometimes gentle words can do so much to soften the intense sadness when a dear love one dies. God’s word acknowledges that our heart can be ‘broken and crushed.’ (Ps. 51:17). But even in severe situations, God can bring relief to a stricken heart if we pray to him in full faith and observe his commandments.

  6. Craig, Tom and I were saddened to hear of Barbs’ passing but, know she is in Gods’ care now! We loved being with you 2 for our Bethel studies! You both helped enrich our lives and Christian growth! She was a gentle caring woman and is missed!
