Barbara Moore Georgia

Barbara Moore Georgia Sparta, TN – Barbara Moore Georgia, 66, of Sparta, TN, died Monday, August 19, 2013 at Life Care Center of Sparta. A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Estelle Thorpe Moore. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Moore. Barbara is survived by her husband, David Georgia; two daughters, Debbie Williams and her husband, Kenneth of Edmonton, KY and Jennifer Green and her husband, Patrick of Fairview; three sons, Allen Sexton and his wife, Stacy of Jacksonville, FL, Charles Sexton and his wife, Amy of Talladega, AL and Brian Sexton of Asheville; one sister, Judy McCrary of Etowah; two brothers, Rev. David Moore of Woodfin and Bill Moore of Bradenton, FL; twelve grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, August 23, 2013 in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian with Reverend David Moore and Brother Kenneth Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family graciously asks that memorials be made in Barbara's memory to the American Cancer Society.
