Beatrice S Wright

Beatrice Wright, 84, of Asheville, died Saturday, August 27, 1999, at the Blue Ridge Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in New York and was the daughter of the late Harry and Florence Gonyea Smith. She owned and operated the Park Dairy Bar
in Doctor's Park with her late husband, Edward 'Sarge' Wright, who died in 1983. She was a member of Oakley Baptist Church.

Surviving are her sons and their wives, Bob and Becky Wright of Asheville, and John and Joyce Wright of Gulf Breeze, Florida; her daughter and
son-in-law, Kathleen and Phillip Johnson of Blue Springs, Missouri; four grandchildren, Angela, Melissa, Jennifer, Jonathan, and a step-granddaughter, Mary; and three great-grandchildren, Brandon, Hunter, and Joshua.

Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday at Woodlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Lolley officiating.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 29, from 4 to 5 PM at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
