Bell Sutton Crisp, 91, of 5 Came Sharpe Road, Leicester, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at the WNC Baptist Retirement Home. Mrs. Crisp was born in Swain County and was a daughter of the late Demon and Laurie Jenkins Sutton. She was married to William Benjamin Crisp, who died in 2001. Surviving are two daughters, Vivian Fulton and her husband, Leon, of Leicester and Opal Cudd and her husband, Dock, of Barnardsville; five grandchildren, Elaine Murray and her husband, Kenneth, Pam Smith and Her husband, Ricky, Debbie Reemes and her husband, Conley, Barry Fulton and his wife, Christine, and Doc Cudd; nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and one sister, Elvira Sutton of Bryson City. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Luada Cemetery, Bryson City, with the Rev. Keith Hutchinson officiating. Her family will receive friends from 7:00 – 8:30 P.M. Friday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue. Memorials may be made to the Rickman Center, WNC Baptist Retirement Home, 213 Richmond Hill Drive, Asheville NC 28806.
