  6. Irma, and family, Bruce and I thanking God for the privilege we’ve had in knowing Ben and the family. We started friendship at Toe River Campground as we would gather around campers and sing praises to God. We then would go sing at the apartments in Burnsville, around different churches as the Campground Family. We had a lot of fun just sitting around Philip and Mary’s campfire. A lot of years have gone by now and several of the Campground Family are now in heaven. I’m sure they have welcomed Ben by now. Please know we are praying for God’s grace and comfort for you all at this time. Ben’s work is done he is home now, his race finished. Love you all.

  7. My heart, love and prayers are with everyone and I thank our Lord that Ben was a huge part of my life. May God bless Irma, Diane and Sherry and the family.

  8. We were so sorry to hear of Ben’s passing. We had kind of lost track of your family over the years but always fondly remember the times that we had with you both. Richard talks of Ben often when remembering them working together and fishing together. So sorry for your loss.

  9. Sherie! You and your family have our deepest sympathy. We are praying for you all.
    William and Roberta Allen

  10. Many fond memories of the Austin family as they were part of my first church family. RIP Ben. Gods blessing for the family.

  11. I just wanted to say to the family, hold onto Gods hand for he is the only one that can comfort you in this time of heart break. Ben was such a Godly man, loving and caring man. Him and Erma was always so kind to me and my mom at State Street Baptist where we all went to church. He will be so missed but such a blessing to heaven. He is probably leading the choir up there.

  12. Will always remember the times Ben would go carp fishing with me and my dad , Neal Swann. Remembering the family and friends in prayer. Ben was a good one.

  13. To the family, I am sorry for the grief that you are feeling.
Knowing of God’s enduring love for you, continue to look to him when he ” will wipe out all tears from eyes, death, suffering, and pain will be no more. ” Revelation 21:3,4
He says death is an ” enemy that will be brought to nothing. ” 1 Corinthians 15:26
How comforting to know that this will be a thing of the past and through Christ Jesus a resurrection for our loved ones.

    love
