Benny C. Fish, 44, of 288 Morgan Road, Candler, died Friday, January 29, 1999.
Mr. Fish was born in Haywood County and was a 1972 graduate of Pisgah High School. He had been a pipefitter for 24 years, most recently with Advance Fire Protection Co. in Travelers Rest, SC. He was a member of Montmorenci United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Wright Fish; a daughter, Christina L. “Chrissy” Fish of the home; two sons, J. Shane Fish of Candler and Donald James “D.J.” Fish of the home; his parents, James G. and Bessie H. Fish of Canton; and five brothers, James R. Fish, Jerry D. Fish, Gary E. Fish, Donald L. Fish and Jeffrey K. Fish, all of Canton.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm Monday at Snow Hill United Methodist Church with the Revs. Neil Haynes and Terry Duckworth officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and request that memorials be made to Montmorenci United Methodist Church Building fund or to Snow Hill United Methodist Church.
