Bernice Williams Moore, 85, of Garren Creek Road, Fairview, died Thursday, January 28, 2010. A native of Rutherfordton, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Bessie C. Williams, wife of the late Floyd John Moore and was also preceded in death by a son, David F. Moore. She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Hamlin and Beulah Wilson and her husband, Steve, of Fairview, Anita Michal and her son, Aaron Michal of the home; a son, Charles Moore of Fairview; two sisters, Edna Williams of Fairview, Mildred Williams of Fletcher; her brother, Wade Williams of Skyland; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church conducted by the Revs. Charles Rogers, Chester Owenby and Jim Whitted. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:30 pm Monday at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian. The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Paul Chang and his staff for their devotion to Mrs. Moore.

  20. I just found out about your Mom. All of you are in my prayers. I remember all the great times I had growing up and when I was at Maw’s house I always wanted to come see Aunt Bunt. I understand your grief it hs been a year since Mom passed away.
