Betty Carolyn Price, 79, of 100 Cheerio Lane, Arrowhead Apartments, Asheville, died Friday, February 16, 2007, at her residence.
An Asheville native, she was a daughter of the late Arthur McCoy and Elizabeth Neighbors Scott.
Mrs. Price is survived by her daughter, Joy Price Paul, of Plano, TX; son, Rodney Price, of Asheville; brother, Arthur B. Scott, of Painted Post, NY; grandchildren, Meghan and Collin Paul; and niece Rachel Weaver.
A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Groce Funeral Home chapel on Patton Ave. with the Rev. Jay Paul officiating. Interment will follow at Gashes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

No words can truly express my sadness of your mom’s passing. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and mother-in-law and I will remember her with fond and loving memories always.
