  1. Dearest Don and family, Just a note to say how much I grieve for you and the children, I pray God will give you peace and understanding. I always loved your family especially your Mom and Dad. They were really sweet people. I’ll n
    be praying for you all.

  2. I remember Mrs. Padgett and my mom working together on many church activities at Skyland Baptist Church. Mrs. Padgett was a wonderful lady and I know she will be missed tremendously. My God comfort your family during this difficult time.

  3. Dear Padgett Family, I worked with Betty for many years in Asheville City Schools. I admired and respected her multitasking office skills and that no matter how high the paper work was on her desk, she always would take the time to answer a question. She was reliable, dependable, knowledgeable, and added a sense of security to the workplace environment in that if Betty was on the job, everything was going to be ok. May God’s peace surround all of you during this difficult time. Genevieve Butler, Isle of Palms, SC
