  21. Betty was a wonderful neighbor, consistently ALWAYS friendly. One of her little quirks which always made us smile was that she seemed to not be able to stand even a twig on her driveway! We already greatly miss looking out the window and seeing her with broom in hand sweeping, or walking up the drive to check her mail, still picking up twigs and throwing them away as she went. It was obvious that she loved her home clean and neat, so it stood to reason that she kept herself always looking beautiful as well. But, most importantly, she was beautiful inside, compassionate, kind, always doing what she could to help others in need. Dear family, she loved you beyond measure! What a legacy she left you with! Know that she is more alive than she has ever been! For sure, she is enjoying a big reunion with family, hearing and participating in the magnificent worship and praise, exploring her new mansion prepared just for her, filled with all that Jesus knew ahead of time that she loves. I am confident that she will be talking to Jesus every day about each of YOU! With certainty, she has not forgotten you and will continue to hold you close to her heart, always watching from above and longing for you to be ready to join her one glorious day!

  22. Kathy, Larry and all of the Family. So sorry to hear about our cousin. What a wonderful person. She is now singing with JD, Annette, Jerry and many others.
You are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Helen & Richard, Becky, Harold & Phillip and Sally.

  23. Kathy, and family,
I’m so sorry to hear about your Mom’s passing. I know the terrible loss and emptiness you are feeling. Your Mom loved her family and was always very supportive of all of you. We could always count on Betty to support the Sugar Jets. Betty was like ‘Big Al’…They had the gift of personality, laughter, loyalty, friendship, and love! They made all of our lives brighter and happier just by knowing them.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time, and the days ahead. I was a Daddy’s girl, as you were Kathy, but there’s something about losing your Mother that is indescribable…Maybe it’s the bond from them carrying us through birth. I can’t explain it..
    Love and prayers…. Susan

My favorite memories of Betty are from a different time when I was a young girl visiting my Aunt Ruby, her mother-in-law, and watching Betty get a sun tan. She was beautiful and she and my cousin Winfred were a very beautiful couple. My condolences to all her family because of our loss, however, we have all the precious memories to make us happy. I remember some of the days when I worked with your mom at Square D when we would get tickled at something and we would laugh and she could laugh so hard tears would come and we couldn’t stop laughing. You will miss her for sure but know you will see her again. Vicky

  30. Larry, Kathy, and Family,
Our prayers are for you and your loss because Betty is singing and having a great time in her heavenly home with Jesus, her family, and our family members. They were all there to greet her when she came home! We can follow in her footsteps with her love for singing praises to God, reaching out to others in loving friendship, and demonstrating faithfulness to the Lord’s work until the end of life. She was a special lady to be proud of and you can honor her memory and make her proud in the way you live your lives. May the Lord give you the peace and grace to face your loss. Our Love in Jesus.
