Betty Jo Clontz Henry

Betty Jo Clontz Henry, 68, of 655 Pisgah Highway, died Monday, January, 8, 2001 at her residence. A native of Haywood County, she lived most of her life in Buncombe County. She was a daughter of the late Audrey and Grace E. Mason Clontz. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jeter Monroe Henry who died in 1993 and a brother Paul Junior Clontz. Mrs. Henry was a former employee of Dinner Bell and attended Davis Chapel United Methodist Church. Her survivors include her son and daughter-in- law, Ricky and Marti Henry of Candler; a sister, Elizabeth Ann Howell of Asheville; a brother, Billy Way Clontz of Canton; and two grandchildren, Nolan Ryan Henry and Megan Delaine Henry. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Patton Avenue Chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Revs. H.D. Houck and Jimmy Trantham will officiate with burial following in Piney Mountain Methodist Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
