Betty Jo (Ezell) Hardiman of Arden, NC died at home on Saturday, July 15, 2023.
Born in Lewisburg, TN, she was the wife of the late Paul L. Hardiman for 58 years before his passing. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rena (Harris) Ezell.
Betty Jo graduated from Giles County High School in Pulaski, TN and University of Chattanooga (aka University of TN at Chattanooga) with a degree in History. She was a homemaker and an active member in the United Methodist Church in Tampa, FL and Smithville, TN.
Betty Jo is survived by her sister, Pat Ezell; her son Bill and his wife, Betty; her daughter, Lynn; her daughter, Leigh and her husband, Peter; her daughter, Harriet and her husband, Doug; her daughter, Leslie and her husband, Doug; and her grandchildren, Harris and Rhys.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Smithville.
