Betty Kathleen Meadows, 94, died Friday, November 4, 2016.
A native of Asheville, she was a daughter of the late Artie and Lottie Wyatt Meadows, and was also preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Meadows and a brother, Lee Mitchell Meadows. She worked for 34 years in meteorology with the US Department of Commerce before retiring in 1978.
She is survived by cousins, Frank Creasman and wife Ramona and Barbara Deal and husband, Jerry.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Green Hills Cemetery.

We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Kathleen and we knew she had been getting somewhat weaker as of late. Our sincere condolences are expressed to the family and friends.
Thanks for letting any of us know of my aunts death….Kathleen was very special to me, my brother and sister. Always will there be fond memories and we will see her again in heaven. Janet
